Bill Schubart writes about Vermont in fiction, humor, and opinion pieces. He will discuss and answer questions about the relative merits of seeking discovery by traditional publishers or seizing the bull by the horns and self-publishing. He will be very explicit about costs, services, and challenges. He is the author of several books, traditionally and independently published: The Lamoille Stories White River Press, Fat People, Panhead, I am Baybie, and Photographic Memory all on his own Magic Hill Press. He has lived with his family in Vermont since 1947.
